After graduating Phi Beta Kappa with a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of North Carolina, Sharron R. Edwards went on to receive her law degree from that same institution in 1987. A member of the Holderness Moot Court and the Order of the Coif (an honorary scholastic society recognizing law students who attain a high grade of scholarship), Sharron R. Edwards has a long history of academic excellence and professional accomplishments. As a past president of the Pitt County Bar Association, Sharron has distinguished herself not only in the classroom but also in the courtroom. She is currently a member of several professional legal organizations, including the North Carolina and American Bar Associations, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, and the North Carolina Academy of Trial Lawyers.
When not practicing law, Sharron stays busy caring for the couple's three boys. She also teaches an adult couples’ Sunday School class at Oakmont Baptist Church and a seventh and eighth grade girls’ Bible study.
